Restaurant & Retail Liberty Tap Room Greenville, South Carolina Completed: 2007 Square Footage/Scope: 6700SF Next Back	LIBERTY TAP ROOM This 6,500 SF restaurant, with additional 2,000 SF outdoor seating area, is located in the newly rejuvenated West End District of downtown Greenville. This design featured a large, open dining room with multiple ceiling heights and materials, as well as a 12' stained glass mosaic of the Statue of Liberty at the entrance. The outdoor seating area features a bar with a curved standing seam metal roof and a wood ceiling with clerestory lighting. MKA provided architectural services for code review, interior design, and exterior patio design. The project had to meet stringent standards set by the City of Greenville's Design and Preservation Commission.
