The new rowing facility houses training spaces, locker rooms, boat bays, team lounge, coaches' offices, and a finish line viewing tower. MKA developed a master plan that proposed a phased building program so the University could effectively and efficiently use limited funds to support long term goals, while addressing pressing needs. In order to meet demanding scheduling issues, MKA collaborated with Clemson University, Clemson Athletics, and the Rowing Team, as well as the US Army Corps of Engineers to help build project momentum from the start.
